Wildseed Farms in Fredericksburg, TX

- A beautiful visit to Wildseed Farms in Fredericksburg, Texas, as the poppies were in full bloom in early spring.  What a lovely place!  We toured the flower gardens, poppy fields, butterfly house, gift shop, nursery, and pavilion.  We sampled the homemade jams and jellies with fresh, warm biscuits right out of the oven.  We then sampled a few Texas wines in the tasting room and bought a bottle of Llano Estacado Shiraz to enjoy under the shady pavilion where the music was playing and the gigantic windchimes were singing.  Just heavenly!
